Abercrombie has introduced a few new warm weather items this month, and I’m happy to see that they’re getting bigger and bigger in style, with pockets on almost every piece (very useful for keeping my cell phone on my runs!). For those of you who are pregnant, I’ve also noticed that many of these styles are bump friendly. For the straps and necklines of these dresses, I always prefer to wear my Bristol corset over a strapless bra.

This one was my favorite of all the dresses I tried on! As a black mid-length dress, it looks simple, but the cut and details make it feel chic. With this dress, I either wore it casually around the kids in flat sandals with a summer tote bag, or in strappy sandals with a small wicker bag. Even though it says “low neckline” in the name, I don’t think it’s too low and I love the gathered neckline.

This dress is probably not for bumps in mid-pregnancy, as it’s empire style with a high waistline and a loose skirt. I tested my zipper multiple times with no issues, so I’m hoping this review is just an isolated case. xxs The petite went up comfortably with the zipper up, but not enough for me to judge sizing. There is also a slightly loose back panel to provide some stretch.

This is a romantic and lightweight 100% cotton dress. It’s perfect for rompers due to its waistline and flowy skirt fabric – I would only size up for comfort if you want to wear it. It’s double layered and a bit thin, but I don’t have a problem with it being see-through when I wear a pair of skin tone underwear. The fabric composition seems to be different for each color of this dress, and it looks like the solid green might be more opaque than the white and crushed print.

This Greek-inspired piece is also 100% cotton with a semi-sheer overlay skirt and a half-length lined skirt. It has a tie at the bust that you can tie or tuck in like I did above for a cleaner look. This one has a very forgiving and loose waistband and I can see it being cool and comfortable on a hot summer day. I wrote “early bulge friendly” because even though the skirt is very flowy on the outside, the cotton half-lined skirt won’t stretch and may not be suitable for larger bulges.

These Schutz sandals are sure to be a favorite again this year because of their low heel, practical block heel, and clean upper that can be worn with just about anything.
