Over the weekend, I shared an outfit that I’ve been loving: loose pants with sneakers – a pairing that I never even thought to try a few years ago. These pants are the perfect length for me to wear with heels, but I found a little trick to help pair them with sneakers too! Check out my IG video.
I initially bought a bunch of heel lifters because I have low ankles and a lot of shoes rub uncomfortably there. But an unexpected benefit is that they help keep some pant legs from dragging on the floor! Here I am using the 3.3 cm / 1.3 inch high heel lifts, and I also have the lower AdjustaLifts for when I only need a slight lift to alleviate the ankle rubbing problem.I tried a few brands and liked these two because they were more slimming, whereas the others were too wide to fit in my shoes.
Now these weren’t enough for pants that were a few inches longer, but they helped and I also wore thick-soled sneakers for another inch. If you missed it, you can check out my original shoe tips post where these were featured.
I also wanted to mention that my Everlane cardigan just came back in stock in three neutral colors. I bought it about a year ago and it’s a great textured, thick cotton jersey in a medium weight. For a more affordable non-cotton option, I recently bought this waffle cardigan and I love it! It’s soft to the touch, a little oversized boyfriend style, but the length still works for petites and I love the waffle texture.
